Petrol, Diesel price continue climbing up in India

Oil-marketing companies increased retail price of fuel for the seventh consecutive day across India.

The price of fuels continue to rise in India for consecutive 7th day. Petrol price in Mumbai is Rs 95.46 per litre as opposed to Rs 95.21 per litre on Sunday. Diesel is at Rs 86.31 per litre. It is an increase of 30 Paise.

Oil-marketing companies increased retail price of fuel for the seventh consecutive day across India. After the revision of fuel prices, the price of petrol rose by 23-26 paise while price of diesel increased by 28-30 paise across metropolitan cities.

Petrol Price in Delhi increased to Rs 88.99 per litre while the price of Diesel rose to Rs 79.35 per litre. The price rose to Rs 90.25 per litre and Rs 82.94 per litre for Petrol and Diesel respectively.

The State and Central taxes comprise of 61% of retail selling price of petrol and 56% of diesel. Brent crude prices rose on Monday in the international oil market.
