PM Modi congratulates Biden and Harris, says he looks forward to strengthen India-US strategic partnership

Soon after Joe Biden took oath as President of United States of America, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Joe Biden on assuming office and expressed his commitment to working with him to take the India-US partnership to even greater heights.

 PM Modi Tweeted, "My warmest congratulations to Joe Biden on his assumption of office as President of the United States of America. I look forward to working with him to strengthen the India-US strategic partnership,"

Former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday congratulated people of the US after President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were sworn in.

"Congratulating the USA on a new chapter of their democracy. Best wishes to President Biden and Vice-President Harris. Inauguration Day," he said in a tweet. His remarks came soon after Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the US.
