Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Asia’s biggest hospital in Faridabad.

PM was joined by Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Chief of Amritanandmayi Math Maa Amria, Union State Minister Krishnapal Gurjar, and Haryana’s Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala on the occasion.

The district administration is up on their toes to ensure they must not lag in ensuring Prime Minister’s tight security on his visit. Section 144 has been imposed in the district.

The Amrita Hospital based in Kochi in Kerala is among the premier medical centers in the entire South-Asian region. The new Faridabad-based hospital of Amrita Hospitals branch will proceed with the facility of 550 beds which will see an upgrade to 750 beds in the next 18 months.

All the foreign guests will be required to fill out Form C and a special ID will be issued to them during their entire course of stay.

The Faridabad-based Amrita hospital will have an extended capacity of 2600 beds, approximately 5 times the current opening of 550. The hospital will be having 81 different centers and medical departments. Including dedicated sections for major operations.

The Hospital is considered one of the country's largest green-building healthcare projects with a very low carbon footprint, and it is an end-to-end paperless facility with zero waste discharge.

Once fully operational, the hospital will have around 10,000 staff and more than 800 doctors.
