The
prime minister on Friday's conclave on higher education spoke on the new
education policy. He emphasized on the need for the new generation to learn to
respect farmers and daily wage workers, hence a major emphasis has been placed
on the dignity of labour. The focus will now be on "how to think"
rather than "what to think".
"The education policy has been approved after 3-4
year of extensive debate and deliberation moreover, there wasn't any section
from the nation that objected to or claimed of any sort of discrimination in
the policy. This indicates that the people were for years, looking for a change
in the education policy which they now have."- said the PM
Modi addressed the education policy makers by saying
that it is normal if you hear questions asking you about how you plan to implement
such a major change.

"In order for us to tackle this challenge, it is
important for us to collectively work. You must now commence working on it immediately
to implement it and that is the reason why your part is absolutely essential.
As far as the political will is concerned, I'm completely committed. I stand
with you".
Every nation in some way links their education policy
with its national values, national goals and reforms and then collectively (as
a nation) moves ahead to ensure that their respective policies play an integral
role in determining the present and the future of its present and future
generations. This is the same ideology that India follows. The national
education policy is going to lay the foundation of 21st century India.
