Addressing the Lok Sabha in his Motion of Thanks on President's address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday tore apart the opposition and especially the Congress party. PM Modi in his address slammed the Congress party for politicizing and creating a state of panic in the country during the COVID times. PM Modi also accused the Congress party of arranging buses and other means of transport for the laborers in order to create a panic among them. However, the laughter were heard when PM Modi turned a Shayaar and took a dig at Congress leader Adhir Ranjan.
During his Motion of Thanks on President's address, PM Modi mentioned that Congress leader Adhir Ranjan recited Shayaari and therefore he will recite one. Taking a dig at Congress and Adhir Ranjan, PM Modi recited Shayari and said:
"Wo jab din ko raat kahe toh turant maan jao,
Nahi kahogey toh wo din mein naqab odh lengey,
Zarurat hui toh haqeeqat ko thora maror lengey,
Wo magrur hai khud ki samajh par beinteh,
Unhe Aaina mat dikhao,
Wo aaine ko bhi tod dengey"
PM Modi's Shayari was pointed towards Congress leadership and High Command. Apart from this, PM Modi also outlined India's leadership quality specially in the terms of COVID. "There is a new world order post COVID19 pandemic. We are being recognized as a leader. India must take the global leadership role," said PM Modi.
Furthermore, PM Modi took a dig at Congress's poor performance in the elections and their efforts to win the Public's confidence. "Today poor people of the country are getting a gas & connection, house & toilets. They have their own bank account. But unfortunately, some people's (opposition) minds are still stuck in 2014," said PM Modi.
"Nagaland voted for Congress 24 yrs ago, Odisha voted for you 27 yrs ago. You won with full majority in Goa 28 yrs ago. In 1988, Tripura voted for Congress. West Benga voted for Congress in 1972. You take credit for creation of Telangana but the public did not accept you," added PM Modi.
