Thousands of farmers are protesting against the three farm laws on Delhi's interstate borders at Singhu enacted by the Central government, Tikri, Ghazipur and Chilla on the Delhi-Ambala, Delhi-Hisar, Delhi-Ghaziabad and Delhi-Noida routes, respectively.

They demand to repeal the three laws as they are apprehensive that the mandi system will go away and they will remain at the mercy of corporates.
