As the world is going through coronavirus pandemic, cops of India are coming up with innovative ideas to aware and raise hopes among people of India. Recently, a home guard of the Daman police turned, to spread the message of ‘stay at home’ to the residents of the Union territory. To make the message reach out to the masses of all ages, the 45-year-old cop chose an all-time popular song ‘Hum tumhe itna pyaar karenge’ from the 1988 Bollywood blockbuster Mithun-starrer ‘Bees Saal Baad’ and added his own coronavirus twist to the version.
“Since the first lockdown in March, I have been singing the coronavirus version of the song in various localities. People appreciate my song and my purpose is served when my voice reaches every ear across the territory,” he said.
