A video of a woman depicting the stages of domestic violence through a timeline video has gone viral on Twitter and it will break your heart. The video was shared on Twitter by Jenan Moussa and it shows the stages a woman has to go through as she becomes a victim of domestic violence in an abusive marriage.
She shared the video with the caption, "What a powerful clip to raise awareness about domestic abuse." In the beginning of the video, a woman can be seen receiving flowers and being happy for the affection showered on her, before the abuse begins.
The video ends on a heartbreaking note as it shows the woman heavily bruised, crying with a pitiable expression on her face.
After the video was shared online, many Twitter users spoke against domestic violence and how women have to suffer because the society doesn’t allow them to leave their marriage.
