A Delhi-based dentist, Dr Dimple Arora Chawla, 34-year-old, was seven months pregnant with her second baby and tested positive for coronavirus in April. She lost her unborn baby two weeks after she tested positive and the very next day she also lost the battle with the coronavirus.
The doctor left behind her husband and a three and a half years old son.

Days before her death, Dr Dimple shot a video for her family and friends and urged them to take care, wear a face mask and not take this deadly virus lightly. The video was shared by her husband after the death of the doctor.
In the 2 minutes and 20-second video, she said, “I am making this video with great difficulty. I want to tell each and everyone who knows me, please don’t take coronavirus lightly. Very bad, very bad symptoms. I am not able to speak but I want to convey my message to all.”
Dr Arora said, “Please wear a mask, whenever you go outside, whenever you interact with people, outside and at home, for your near and dear ones’ safety.”
Her husband, Ravish Chawla narrated her covid battle and said that her oxygen level started dipping 10 days after she tested positive for coronavirus. She was immediately admitted to the hospital where she was given Remdesivir and administered two rounds of plasma therapy.

Mr Chawla said that after the day she was tested positive their son also tested positive for the virus and later he recovered within a week. However, he himself was tested negative.
