Prime Minister Narendra Modi is replying to the Motion ofThanks on President Kovind's address. Narendra Modi while speaking in RajyaSabha on Monday said that newly enacted farm laws should be given a chance andhe reiterated that Minimum Support Price is here to stay. His statement comesat a time when the situation is worrisome at the border in Delhi because thefarmers are protesting against contentious farm laws.

9. It is our intention to remove all those handicapswhich come in the way of India realizing its vast potential as one large commonmarket." Manmohan Ji had talked about giving a free market to farmers andmake India a large common market.
