In a shocking turn of events, Prince Harry may not be allowed to wear his military uniform at the King's Coronation next month. The Duke of Sussex had earlier confirmed his attendance, with his wife Meghan Markle staying behind in California.
Last year, Prince Harry was forced to have the ER symbol removed from his military uniform when he stood vigil at the Queen’s funeral, and next weekend the war veteran could face the same fate. Military historian Dr Peter Johnston told True Royalty TV's The Royal Beat that Harry probably won’t be donning a military uniform.
Dr Johnson said, “I imagine Harry won't wear uniform (at the coronation). Even as a veteran who did two tours in Afghanistan, he won't wear uniform." Instead, he may have his own tribute to his royal father by wearing his medals.

According to Royal author Tessa Dunlop, Harry risks being left “exposed” to hostile family members at the Coronation without the support of his spouse. She claimed that he just wasn’t a man who was comfortable in his skin and coming alone means he’s exposed, effectively. He will be made to sit further from the royals at best, so he will have that feeling of demotion.
Meanwhile, Prince Andrew, the King’s disgraced brother, stripped of his titles after allegations made by Virginia Giuffre, which he denies, will also be in attendance. However, even Andrew “will be afforded better treatment (than Harry) and shown more respect by the Crown,” claimed another royal author, Christopher Andersen.
The Coronation is expected to be a high-profile event, with various members of the royal family and distinguished guests in attendance. It remains to be seen how the events will unfold and what treatment Prince Harry will receive from his family members.
