On Monday, a Bhiwandi resident was arrested in connection with the SSC exam paper leak. Ansari Mohammad Navid was a tutor at Bhiwandi Career Coaching Center. The institue was owned by Wazhir Shiekh who was initially arrested in the case. The total number of arrests have gone up to four, after Navid's arrest on Monday. The 4 arrested also includes the name of the vice-principal of a school.
The police arrested Navid after Sheikh stated during an interrogation that he was his co-conspirator. “Navid was aware that the question paper was being shared with the students. We shall now interrogate him to find out his role in the paper leak incident. He is in police custody till March 29”, informed an officer.

A complaint was filled by Bhiwandi-based Samvad Foundation Govind Sharma with the education board, regarding the first possible leak at a school in the area. Police started the prob shortly after an FIR was registered. However, the same day History and Political Science question papers were also circulated.
Till now, as many as six people have been questioned by the police, in connection to the same case.
