On September 24, India will witness the amalgamation of two fraternities when Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra takes her wedding vows with her fiance & AAP Rajya Sabha leader Raghav Chadha. Parinneti-Chopra-Raghav Chadha's wedding will take place at the luxurious Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. While Parineetio Chopra-Raghav Chaddha's marriage is surely slated to be a big-fat wedding, there are multiple prominent personalities from both the political as well as Bollywood industries who are expected to attend the event. However, it seems like Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra who is the elder cousin of Parineeti Chopra may not reach the wedding in time and therefore, the actress on Saturday took to her Instagram story and shared a heart-touching note for her sister.
Priyanka Chopra shared Parinneti Chopra's picture on her Insta story in which the actress was seen in full of joy enjoying a holiday. Sharing Parineeti's picture, Priyanka wrote, "I hope you are as happy and content as this on your big day little one..always wishing you so much love (red heart emoji) #newbeginnings @parineetichopra @raghavchadha88." While the post might be a pre-wedding congratulatory message, but Priyanka's latest Insta post fueled reports that she may not attend Parineeti-Raghav's wedding.
In her Insta post, Priyanka shared a video on Instagram featuring herself, her daughter Malti, and her brother-in-law Frankie Jones as they visited a farm. In the clip, Priyanka was seen playing with a goat as she tried to balance it on her back. She laughed, posed, and spoke to someone as the goat stood on her back.
It is pertinent to mention here that earlier reports suggested that Priyanka would attend the wedding along with her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. It is pertinent to mention here that Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra has been seen at the pre-wedding festivities. Another major reason why Priyanka Chopra may not be attending Parineeti's wedding is the Joe Jonas divorce case. Hollywood actor & pop-star Joe Jonas who is Priyanka Chopra's brother-in-law is going through a personal crisis. Joe Jonas and his wife Sophie Turner are getting a divorce. While at first, Joe Jonas-Sophie Turner's divorce seemed amicable, the Game of Thrones actor filed a case against the Pop-star to return their children's passport so that she can take them to England. In response, Joe's representative was quoted saying that the pop-star had not kidnapped his own daughters and therefore will be fighting the case to keep them in the United States.

After their wedding, Parineeti and Raghav will be hosting a grand wedding reception in Chandigarh at the Taj Hotel, Chandigarh. It is expected that the entire Bollywood industry will attend the high-profile function in Chandigarh. It is pertinent to mention here that Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra's reception invite was recently leaked online and it stated, "Alka and Sunil Chadha, parents of Raghav Chadha invite you for the Reception lunch of their son ‘Raghav and Parineeti, daughter of Reena & Pawan Chopra on 30th September 2023 at Taj Chandigarh”.
