Pro-Palestinian protestors including Jews on Wednesday stormed into the US Capitol building and staged a sit-in agitation chanting 'Ceasefire'. Pro-Palestine protestors barged into the US Capitol building after Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., a member of the far-left "Squad," rejected Israel's proof saying that it was Hamas missiles that fell on Gaza hospital killing 500 Palestinians including innocent women and children. The Pro-Palestine Protest US Capitol video is going viral on social media and has raised global attention.
In the viral video, the Pro Palestine protestors can be seen sitting on the premises of the US Capitol and chanting ceasefire. A few were also holding 'Let Gaza Live' placards.
As per reports, US Capitol police arrested protestors inside the building where Hundreds of primarily Jewish protesters staged a sit-in protest calling on the Biden administration to push for a ceasefire in Gaza. Reportedly, Capitol Hill building that public access to the Capitol complex has been restricted after a sizable number of demonstrators calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas disrupted one of the House office buildings.
After several protestors were arrested, a section of netizens on social media demanded Rep. Rashida Tlaib's arrest as she addressed the protestors first, and thereafter hundreds of them stormed into the US Capitol building.
A user wrote, "Rashida Tlaib lied to a crowd of protesters. They then stormed the Capitol in an act of violence. It’s looking like she incited the insurrection today. When will she be investigated by Jack Smith?"
Another user wrote, "She must be investigated and charged. Did she arrange to let them in?"
One more user wrote, "This is arguably significantly more incitement than Donald Trump asking protestors to peacefully assemble outside of the Capitol."
What did Rep. Rashida Tlaib say?
As per reports, Rep. Rashida Tlaib said, "That's what's been really painful — just continue to watch people think it's okay to bomb a hospital where children. You know, what's so hard sometimes is watching those videos and the people telling the kids, 'Don't cry.' But like, let them cry! And they're shaking, and somebody — you know this — they keep telling them not to cry in Arabic. They can cry, I can cry, we all can cry. If we're not crying, something is wrong."
"I'm telling you right now President Biden, not all America is with you on this one. And you need to wake up and understand that," she added. "We are literally watching people commit genocide and killing a vast majority… and we still stand by and say nothing. We will remember this," added Rashida Tlaib.
