The Punjab School of Education Board (PSEB) would declare the result of the Class 12th board exams on July 30 (Friday) at 2:30 pm. Students can check the result on the official website of PSEB – pseb.ac.in. The information was shared by the Punjab Examination Controller, JR Mehrok.
During academic session 2020-2021, more than 3 lakh students have enrolled for the board exams of class 12th. This year, the board canceled the examination of class 12th because of the spread of coronavirus and lockdown. The cabinet minister said that Punjab School Education Board would declare the results as per the pattern of the CBSE.

PSEB class 12th result: Evaluation criteria
Mr Vijay Inder Singla, Punjab Education Minister, said, as per the adopted formula, the PSEB will prepare the result according to a 30:30:40 formula based on the student’s performance in classes 10, 11, and 12, respectively.
Mr. Singla said that the PSEB will be drafting the result based on an average 30 percent theory component of the best three performing subjects out of the main five subjects in class 10th and 30 percent weightage based on marks obtained by the students in pre-board, practical examination in classes 11th and 40 percent weightage on the basis marks obtained in pre-board examination, practical examination, and internal assessment in class 12th.
PSEB class 12th result: How to check?
The following steps should be followed by the students to check the result:
Step 1: Go to the official website of Punjab Board – pseb.ac.in.
Step 2: Click the link which read “Class 12th result”

Step 3: Enter the required details, click the “submit” button.
Step 4: The result would appear on the screen, check your result.
Step 5: Download the result and take a printout for future reference.
The students can check their results through SMS as well. Students have to type PB12 <roll number> and then send it to 5676750. The result would be available on your phone in some time.
Last Year’s Passing Percentage:
Last year, the passing percentage of class 12th was 90.98 percent. In 2020, PSEB toppers were awarded Rs 5,100 each student by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
PSEB class 5th, class 8th and class 10th board exams result was declared in the month of May. The passing percentage of class 5th was 99.76 percent, and of class 8th was 99.93 percent.
