spokesman of PSPCL informed that as wheat crop harvesting in the Punjab  is almost complete and for sowing of other crops and vegetables, Punjab state power corporation limited  has issues  supply schedule for agriculture consumers  from 20th April,  2022 in the state  as under:

             Spokesman said that the groundwater table in the Punjab is depleting very rapidly so PSPCL appeals to farmers to make judicious use of water for cultivation of crops and avoid watering empty fields before the onset of paddy season.

 Spokesman further said that   due to intense heat waves the requirement of electricity in the state has increased manifold and in view of the coal shortage scenario prevailing across the country,  PSPCL appeals to all its consumers for the optimum use of electricity so that sufficient coal stock can be built to be utilized in the upcoming paddy season.

PSPCL also requests farmers to install ISI marked shunt capacitors of sufficient capacity on Agriculture Pumpsets for the improvement of Power Supply on AP Feeders.  Cooperation of all esteemed consumers is solicited
