The fire that erupted at Pune Camp's Fashion Street last night completely destroyed around 400 stalls. At around 11 p.m., the Pune Fire Brigade's control room received a call about a fire on Fashion Street, which is renowned for stalls selling fashionable garments and other trendy products.
The Central Fire Brigade and the Cantonment Fire Brigade were quickly dispatched to the scene. Approximately 18 fire tenders and several water tankers were dispatched. Around 1.30 a.m., the situation at the scene was brought under control after a vigorous firefighting operation.
The "cooling operation" is still underway, according to fire authorities, despite the fact that the fire has been extinguished. “The Fashion Street had about 400 stalls, all of which were destroyed. “The cause of the fire is yet to be determined,” a fire department official said.
Further investigation is being carried out by the Pune city police and fire department. So far, no injuries have been confirmed.

Brigadier Rajiv Sethi, president of the Pune Cantonment Board (PCB), had asked for a fire safety evaluation study at the congested Fashion Street market after the Kamala Mills fire tragedy in Mumbai.
