Pune Police raids Vishal Agarwal's luxurious Bramha Sun City house with family driver after minor's grandfather's arrest

The Kalyani Nagar Accident Case on Saturday took a new turn after the Pune Police arrested the minor's grandfather Surendra Kumar Agarwal. Surendra Kumar Agarwal was arrested for allegedly threatening and confining the family driver, Gangaram Poojari, and forcing him to take the blame for the Porsche car accident on his head in return for monetary consideration. After his arrest, the Pune Police raided 'arrested' builder Visha Agarwal's bungalow at Bramha Sun City in Wadgaon Sheri. Interestingly, the Pune Police reached Vishal Agwaral's bungalow along with his family driver Gangaram Poojari. It has been alleged that the Pune Police have seized something from the accused's house, however, they are yet to issue any statement over this. 

Coming back to Pune Porsche accident minor accused, with the arrest of Surendra Kumar Agarwal, all three generations of Agarwal family are now under Police custody. Surender Agarwal was nabbed after interrogation around 3 a.m. on Saturday. His son and prominent Pune realty developer Vishal S. Agarwal was arrested and sent to police custody which ended on May 24 and was remanded to a two-week judicial remand. His grandson and prime accused minor boy is under detention at a juvenile correctional home till June 5 after he allegedly rammed his speeding Porsche car into the Koshtha-Awadhiya duo returning home on their motorcycle.

Yerwada Police Officials Suspended in Pune Porche Accident Case

On Friday, Pune CP announced that two Yerwada Police officials have been suspended. Yerwada Police officials' suspension took place in the Kalyani Nagar Accident Case that took place on Sunday. On Yerwada cops' suspension, Pune CP Amitesh Kumar was quoted saying, "Police Inspector (PI) Rahul Jagdale and Assistant Police Inspector (API), Vishwanath Todkari, posted at Yerwada police station, have been suspended as they did not inform the wireless control room about the accident."

Earlier, Pune CP Amitesh Kumar had pointed out that there have been lapses from the Police side. As per reports, Amitesh Kumar pointed out that there was a delay in collecting the blood samples of the juvenile who had allegedly consumed alcohol at two pubs before the accident. While the accident took place around 3 am on Sunday, the blood samples were collected at 11 pm, the commissioner said. Not only this, but the offense was also initially registered under section 304 (A) (death caused by negligence ) of IPC and later section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) was added.
