Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at his residence. Punjab CM Mann had discussions with Union Minister Gadkari on multiple serious issues related to roads & connectivity infrastructure in the context of Punjab. The discussions revolved around various road projects, including the demand for the Chandigarh-Pathankot Shivalik Highway. They also addressed the pending work on the Jalandhar-Hoshiarpur Highway and the Adamapur Flyover. Additionally, there was a focus on the need to increase funds for the CRIF scheme. Sushil Rinku, the newly elected MP from Jalandhar, was also present during the meeting.
A source in the known development informed True Scoop News, "There were three to four issues which were discussed in the meeting. They had serious talks over Adampur flyover. Also discussions were held regarding Delhi-Katra National Highway and black spot areas which are prone to accidents."
