Punjab's new DGP Gaurav Yadav has taken against gangsters and drug dealers in the state. ADGP Arpit Shukla along with Jalandhar Police Commissioner and all the police officers are conducting raids in various areas of the city.
Disclosing this here today, ADGP Arpit Shukla said that as per the instructions of DGP Gaurav Yadav, police across the state have started cracking down on gangsters and drug smugglers.
A special operation is being launched by the police against these criminals and the action against these criminals will continue in the future also. Arpit Shukla said that Punjab has to be made better by getting rid of these criminals.

He also said that sting operations were being carried out, about which he could not provide any information. He said that the Jalandhar Commissioner of Police and all officers would intensify the campaign against these criminals.
