Punjab's Education Minister, Harjot Bains visited the Desumajra Government School in Kharar on Monday. During this moment, many classes of the school did not have furniture for the children to sit on.
Education Minister also shared the video of his visit on his Twitter account. He wrote, "Today I visited Desu Majra School of Kharar, our teachers are working very hard against all odds. No furniture and numerous other issues. Ground visits help us knowing the exact situation."

Party chief Arvind Kejriwal guaranteed during the Assembly Election campaign that Punjab schools would also be upgraded to international standards like Delhi. Although there was no major change in the condition of schools, the AAP government did change the education minister. Earlier Meet Hayer was the Education Minister, later its responsibility was given to Harjot Bains.
The same school was flooded by rain three weeks ago. Water stagnated from the classroom to the office. Minister Bains sent the officers there right away after this. However, the school building's wall still appears to be in poor condition as a result of rain.
