"We had only one demand from the Punjab government that Dallewal should be released. The government has accepted their demand. He will join the farmers protest at the Khanauri border. His hunger strike will continue. After Dallewal's arrival, a decision will be taken regarding the demonstration on December 1."

For the unversed, on November 26, farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal was all set to start a hunger strike at the Khanauri border. At 2 o'clock in the night, Punjab Police officials took him into custody from the tent at Khanauri border. After this, he was taken to DMC Hospital in Ludhiana.
