Punjab Govt lifts NSA from Amritpal Singh's associates to bring them back & crack down in Ajnala PS Attack Case

This move comes as the Punjab Police intensify their efforts to address the fallout from the Ajnala Police Station attack.

Punjab Government on Sunday lifted the stringent National Security Act (NSA) from Amritpal Singh's associates lodged inside Dibrugarh Jail in Assam. As per the information received, the Punjab government is planning a big action in the Ajnala Police Station Attack case. All of Amritpal Singh's associates will now be brought back to Punjab from Dibrugarh Jail. For those who are unaware, a mob of about 200-250 people armed with deadly weapons, led by Amritpal Singh, attacked the Ajnala Police Station to free one of their companions from custody.

A total of 7 associates of Amritpal Singh will be brought back to Punjab. Amritpal Singh is MP from Khadoor Sahib and the head of Waris Punjab De. The state police will arrest all the remaining 7 from Dibrugarh jail and bring them to Punjab and take action in all the cases registered in Punjab police stations.
