In a major development, Punjab Government on Thursday transffered IAS and PCS officers in the state. A total of 6 officers have been transferred as per the latest notification issued by Punjab Government's Department of Personnel. Vishesh Sarangal, IAS (2013) Deputy Commissioner, Moga has been transferred to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for posting as Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, SAS Nagar. Furthermore, Abhijeet Kaplish, IAS (2015) Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib has been given the rile of Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib in addition Director Mines and Geology against vacant post.
