Punjab MPs call on Capt Amarinder, discuss 2022 poll strategy, repose full faith in CM’s leadership

Punjab MPs today reiterated that Congress would comfortably sweep 2022 assembly polls to carry forward party's ongoing developmental agenda for people of the state.

Underscoring full faith in Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh's leadership and vision for state, Punjab MPs today reiterated that Congress would comfortably sweep 2022 assembly polls to carry forward party's ongoing developmental agenda for people of the state.

In a statement issued here today, Party Member Parliaments from Patiala Preneet Kaur, Khadoor Sahib MP Jasbir Singh Gill, Jalandhar MP Santokh Singh Choudhary, Fatehgarh Sahib MP Dr Amar Singh, and MP from Faridkot Mohammad Sadiq, who called on the Chief Minister at latter's residence earlier in the day to discuss election strategy for forthcoming polls, stated that people of Punjab only want Captain Amarinder Singh as their Chief Minister for another term.

Underlining that there is no challenge to Congress in Punjab in next assembly polls, the MPs said every Punjabi will once again stamp his approval of Captain Amarinder Singh's leadership and vision by overwhelmingly voting for him in 2022. There is no-one who can even come closer to Captain Amarinder's governance record, administrative experience and expertise which Punjab needs at this crucial juncture in fight against Covid and to rebuild the economy once again.

Congress party will fight the next polls to be held earlier unitedly by taking Captain Amarinder Singh-led government's flagship programmes and policies to their grassroots more aggressively, the MPs further said.
