Jalandhar MC Elections Results 2024 have started to come in with the Aam Aadmi Party all set to sweep the 'Punjab municipal election'. Out of 85 wards of Jalandhar Municipal Corporations, winners of 71 wards have been announced and AAP is leading on 38 seats (while writing). On the other hand, Congress is leading in 17 wards, BJP is leading in 13 wards, BSP-K in 1 ward and INDE in 2 wards. Hence, if AAP continues to stretch its lead in Jalandhar municipal election elections, the Mayor candidate will be from the Bhagwant Mann-led party. AAP's Vaneet Dhir will most probably be the Mayor of Jalandhar.

- Vaneet Dhir: Aam Aadmi Party's Vaneet Dhir is the top face who is most likely to become the Mayor of Jalandhar. Dhir was among the top faces of AAP for the Jalandhar MC Elections 2024. He won from Ward Number 62 by a massive 4200 votes. The AAP candidate defeated Congress's Sanjeev Dua quite comfortably. BJP candidate Balwinder Singh withdrew his nomination from Ward number 62.
- Aruna Arora: AAP leader Aruna Arora is also in the race, however, she may be rewarded with either the Deputy Mayor or Senior Deputy Mayor as Dhir's winning margin is massive. Before the polls, Aruna Arora was the Councillor of Jalandhar's posh area Model Town and she has been very actively working for the city’s welfare. Before the elections, Congress candidate Siya Sharma, wife of Sumit Sharma withdrew her nomination.
- Ashwani Kumar Agarwal: Ashwani Kumar Agarwal also won from Ward number 80. Agarwal also may be rewarded with either Deputy Mayor or Senior Deputy Mayor post.
