Himachal, Haryana and Punjab, saw a change in weather i.e. rainfall on Friday and Saturday, due to which people received some relief from the heat. Due to heavy rain in many areas, the temperature has dropped by 5-6 degrees. According to the information released by the Meteorological Department, there will be a yellow alert on May 12 and there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain along with the storm.
In this regard, there was heavy rain in various areas of neighboring states, including Punjab late on Friday night. 2.2 mm of rain was recorded in Shimla, 1.2 mm in Sundernagar, 18.8 mm in Una, 1.1 mm in Manali and 10.5 mm in Juberhatti in Himachal. Similarly, 5 mm in Sirsa, Haryana. Rain has made the weather cooler in several cities of Punjab including Bathinda, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur. Due to this, there were clouds throughout the day in Punjab and there was relief from the heat.
