In a major development, Punjabi singer & former MP Hans Raj Hans' wife Reshma on Wednesday passed away. Hans Raj Hans' Wife Reshma was 60 years old when she breathed her last. As per the information received, the Punjabi singer's wife had been unwell for a long time and had previously undergone a heart stent procedure due to cardiac issues. As per sources in the known development, Reshma died due to heart failure. She was admitted to Tagore Hospital in Jalandhar.
Apart from being a celebrated singer, Hans Raj Hans has also served as a Member of Parliament (MP). He won the Delhi Lok Sabha seat on a BJP ticket, but in the 2024 elections, he contested from Faridkot, Punjab, where he faced defeat. Hans Raj Hans has been honored with the Padma Shri and has also received prestigious awards in London for his contributions to music.
Reshma’s brother, Paramjit Singh, issued a statement confirming that she breathed her last at 2 PM at Tagore Hospital due to a heart attack. He further informed that her last rites will be held at 11 AM on Thursday in Safipur village. He also mentioned that she had been hospitalized for the past five days, during which Hans Raj Hans and their sons were present in Jalandhar.
