Police in Punjab have launched an investigation to identify three motorcyclists who have been following Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh in recent days. It is suspected that the infamous Bambiha Gang is behind the latest stalking of the singer, and that they have restarted their harassment campaign against him. This is not the first time that Mankirt has been targeted by the gang.
Police in Mohali and Chandigarh are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the motorcyclists, and efforts are being made to track their location to apprehend them. The police have also increased surveillance to ensure the safety of the singer.
Last year, on March 25, 2022, the Bambiha Gang had posted on social media about their attempt to attack Mankirt. The post read, "Luck was on his side as he left just 10 minutes before, otherwise he would have gone to heaven today. He will not survive this time."
Mankirt Aulakh is a popular Punjabi singer, and his association with Lawrence has made him a formidable figure in the music industry. Lawrence is known for his strong-arming tactics, and this has caused many singers to fear him.
It is pertinent to mention here that there were already suspicions surrounding Mankirt Aulakh's involvement in the murder of Siddhu Moosewala. Mankirt is said to be a college friend of Lawrence, the mastermind behind Moosewala's murder. The deceased singer's parents had also raised questions about Mankirt's role in the case. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had also interrogated Mankirt on several occasions.
In the present case, Mankirt's team has filed a complaint, and the police are investigating the matter. Additional CCTV footage from the area is being analyzed to identify the persons following Mankirt or whether they were fans of his. At present, no case has been registered by the police.

The SP of Mohali, Detective Amandeep Singh Brar, has assured that a thorough investigation is being conducted into the matter. It remains to be seen if any more arrests will be made in this case, and whether it will shed light on Mankirt's possible involvement in Sidhu Moosewala's murder.
