Lata Mangeshkar, the legendary vocalist, passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 92. Lata Mangeshkar died of multiple organ failure, according to Dr. Pratit Samdani, who was treating the singer at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital.
"We report the sad death of Lata Mangeshkar at 8:12 a.m. with great sadness. She died of multi-organ failure after more than 28 days in the hospital following Covid-19 "Dr. Samdani provided information.
After being diagnosed with pneumonia and coronavirus in January, the Bharat Ratna awardee was admitted to the hospital.
Tributes to the iconic musician have flooded in from all corners of society. Punjabi Singer, Poet, Composer, and Actor Satinder Sartaj also gave her tribute by sharing a photo of Lata Mangeshkar and captioning his own poem
