In the latest development of the murder case from Punjabi University of Patiala, Punjab Police has arrested 4 accused. The police official informed that deceased Navjot Singh was stabbed accused over a dispute regarding the PG electricity bill.
Reportedly, after carrying out a proper investigation regarding the murder case in Punjabi University, police got to know that there was a fight between the deceased and other students due to which this happened. The investigation revealed that Navjot Singh got into an argument with other members staying in the PG over a split of Rs. 2,000 electricity bill. Later, both got their other friends for the fight and Navjot Singh was killed.
For the unversed, a 20-year-old student named Navjot Singh was stabbed by accused in the head leading to his death. He was a 3rd-year student of computer engineering. Police will further question the arrested accused and based on all evidence and statements case will be registered.
