Punjab: Punjab's 2-senior officers' wives who got empanelled as central secretaries earlier and their names are 1988-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer Anjali Bhawra and 1987-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer Vini Mahajan. And now 1991-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer Seema Jain joins the list today.
As three top Punjab's senior officers include Ex-DGP VK Bhawara, who is currently on leave, NIA Head Dinkar Gupta and IPS officer Parag Jain, and their respective wives starting from VK Bhawara DGP Bhawra’s wife and 1988-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer Anjali Bhawra is on central deputation since May 2018 as additional secretary in the Union ministry of corporate affairs.
A 1987-batch Punjab cadre Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, Dinkar Gupta has kept a low profile for most of his 35-year professional career. He has been at the centre of curiosity after the Union government cleared his appointment as the new head of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on June 23 and his wife and 1987-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer Vini Mahajan is also on central deputation. And she was also appointed as Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation under the Ministry of Jal Shakti on Dec 27.
A-1989 batch Punjab cadre IPS officer Parag Jain and his wife 1991-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer Seema Jain now has approved by ACC for empanelled as central secretary of the following IAS officers of 1991 and posted in Punjab.
