Who was Paco Stanley?
Francisco Jorge Stanley Albaitero aka Paco Stanley was a Mexican TV host who worked for Televisa and TV Azteca. Paco Stanley was quite famous in Mexico and the USA in the 90s for his unique and entertaining style of hosting. As per reports, Paco, 56, was perhaps Mexico's most loved television host, noted for his apolitical prankishness. His daytime variety show and late-night comedy programmes regularly drew audiences of millions.
On June 7, 1999, Paco Stanley was gunned down in broad daylight by reportedly two men who sprayed bullets at his luxury cars after he left a restaurant. Paco died instantly after being shot four times in the head. The gunmen also killed a colleague of Stanley in the car and a bystander and injured two other bystanders.
