Designer Rosa Clara, who created tennis star Rafael Nadal's wife Xisca Perello's wedding dress, described details of her attire in a post on Instagram. Nadal married his longtime girlfriend of 14 years, Xisca Perello, at a castle in Mallorca, Spain on October 20.
"I know it's an enormous responsibility but it's an honour for me," Rosa said in Spanish in a video that accompanied her post. In the short clip, Rosa is seen designing Xisca's gorgeous dress with intricate details.
Rosa shared minute details of Xisca's dress in the caption and said that the "bodice, with a jewel neckline and long sleeves, was made of beautiful Art Deco-inspired French lace with delicate patterning, flower motifs and micro beading on the meticulously hand-embroidered fabric." The skirt was made of silk crepe and a detachable train was attached to it.

The designer also added that she is delighted to have worked for Rafael Nadal's big day.
"The connection between Mery and me was immediate - as well as with her mother, and Rafa's mother and sister - for whom we also designed dresses for the big day. It's been a pleasure to work with them. They are an extraordinary family. Thank you very much for trusting in us and making dreams come true," Rosa said.
