In Punjab, a case of fraud has been reported in Jalandhar.  Ravi Jain, owner of a popular clothing showroom Kalatmak in Model Town, and his wife Kamakshi Jain have been accused of cheating in the name of sending them abroad and ruining a young man's career.

Their showroom is opening on a daily basis but the showroom owners themselves are missing. Police officials who came to raid the showroom said that now a case has been registered and they are being searched daily but by tomorrow the police will issue warrants against both of them after getting an order from the court. Both will be declared fugitives. The couple's parents were also questioned but they too not cooperated.

It is worth mentioning that there is another clothing showroom in the neighborhood of the Kalatmak showroom. His son Ankush Chauhan is a national-level snooker player. He has a 10-year US visa and has been to the US twice. Ankush had given his passport to Ravi Jain to apply for a Canadian visa. Ravi Jain had taken Rs 3 lakh from Ankush but when he went to Canada he was deported.

Disclosing this, Ankush said that when he was asked at immigration if he was married, he replied that he did not. Immigrants took out all the papers and put them in front and said you are lying, so deported. Ankush said that when he came here and took out all the documents, it was found out that Ravi Jain and his wife Kamakshi Jain were in the business of sending people abroad and had also forged them.

The duo had arranged a court marriage with Sukhpreet, a resident of Sangrur, by forging documents with forged signatures. He was shocked to see the document. He immediately informed his father and lodged a complaint with the police. When asked how much money he had taken from the girl, Ankush said the girl's father said he had taken Rs 30 lakh from her in the name of sending her to Canada. Police is further investigating the matter.
