North India woke up to a rainy morning here on Wednesday with a light rain and thunderstorm in some regions of Delhi, Punjab and Haryana courtesy the western disturbances coming from the Mediterranean Sea.
The Indian Meteorologial Department has predicted this rain due to the western disturbances to continue for next three days making the temparature lower.
Heavy hailstorm is also affecting the temparature of North Indian plains making it wetter and causing a significant drop in it.
Also, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi has worsened to 352 and no significant action is seen being taken to curb it. However, the Air quality is expected to improve on Thursday.
The minimum temparature recorded in Delhi on Tuesday was 12 degree Celsius.
