Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings kick off their IPL 2021. Rajasthan Royals have won the toss and chose to bowl against the newly named Punjab Kings earlier known as Kings XI Punjab. Looking for a change of fortune Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul at the toss said that "Wankhede's history is well-known. Everyone wants to be the first to bowl. But we'd like to play some good cricket. We are unable to pinpoint anything specific. It's about the batsmen assisting the bowlers, and vice versa. The auctions were a huge success for us. Our international players are Meredith, Richardson, Gayle, and Pooran."
Talking to the Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson he said "When it comes to selecting the starting XI, we have a few obstacles to overcome. However, I am happy with the players we have. Our international players include Morris, Stokes, Buttler, and Mustafizur. I'm very enthusiastic about the part."
