Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh slammed the opposition quoting the reports of National Telecom Research Organization (NTRO) asking, "whether 300 mobile phones were being used by trees". He answered to the allegations and questions put by the opposition about the damage caused by the IAF Airstrike at Jaish-e-Mohammad terror camps.
"The NTRO, which has an authentic system, said that 300 mobile phones were active... Were these mobile phones used by the trees? Now will you not believe the NTRO also?" asked the Home Minister in an aggressive manner.
"India's respected and authentic NTRO surveillance system has said that before Indian pilots dropped the bombs, 300 mobile phones were active there. There's no need to tell you how many were killed," he added as per the reports.
Lately, the opposition has been asking for the evidence of the casualties caused by the IAF Airstrike in Balakot.
The IAF Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, on being asked about the number of casualties had answered that 'IAF counts targets not the casualties. That is government's job to count the number of casualties caused'.
With the Lok Sabha Elections just around the corner, politicization of the issue is expected to rise.
