Congress has named outgoing Rajya Sabha MP and former president of Congress's Assam unit Ripun Bola as joint candidates of opposition parties.
Congress has declared JB Mather as its candidate for the elections to the three Rajya Sabha seats from Kerala. JB Mather is also the chief of the Kerala Congress women's wing and vice-president of Aluva municipality in Ernakulam district.
The LDF has declared CPI(M) member AA Rahim and Communist Party of India leader P Santosh Kumar as candidates.
