On Monday, Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Takiat was interviewed by the Lucknow media. While addressing the media he said that farmers would hold a tractor rally on August 15 and farmers protesting over the farm laws would converge at the Ghazipur border in New Delhi. The tricolor flag would be unrolled by the farmers at the Ghazipur border.
He also lauded the decision of Jind district residents to take out a tractor rally on August 15 and added that a tractor rally is not a bad thing.
He said, “We will go by tractors to Ghazipur border on August 14 and 15. On August 15, we will host the flag. Tractors from two districts will go. We did not remove the national flag on January 26.”
