When Alia Bhatt broke down on Raha's photo leak
During an episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8, Alia Bhatt opened up about why she broke down when her daughter Raha's pic was leaked online. Notably, Alia Bhatt's daughter Raha's photo leaked online when the toddler's pic was snapped along with Ranbir Kapoor. On being asked why did Alia Bhatt break down, the actress said-
"I felt a picture came out of her and it was our schedule in Kashmir. It was a very difficult schedule. It was my first shoot after giving birth. I still felt that I am still going through some changes. I was not sleeping at night. I was feeding, I was rushing to shoot. So, I remember calling Ranbir and saying, 'Listen I am finding it difficult..so he said, do not worry, I am gonna come and pick her up.' It was relaxing, but separating from her felt guilty. After few a days, I saw a photo of her in which her side face was visible. So, I broke down. I remember that I did not break down because I didn't want people to see her face. When we meet people, I am like constantly showing her to them and asking for their blessings."
"It was just too many too many emotions put together. I am so protective of my loved ones....I realized I was just exhausted and overwhelmed at that time."
