Bollywood star actor Ranbir Kapoor has made it to the headlines now and then over his upcoming film Brahmastra. But the film landed in trouble before its release. Netizens are demanding boycotting the film post its trailer launch with #BoycottBrahmastra trending on Twitter.
Why are people boycotting the film?
The reason for the demand for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer lies in its trailer, the controversy revolves around a scene where Ranbir can be seen wearing shoes and entering in the temple premises. People are terming it as a disrespect to the Hindu religion.
Owing to the ongoing controversy associated with Ranbir over the film, actor images from the film PK alongside Aamir Khan is also taking the round on social media. In the movie, the actor was seen pasting god’s sticker on his chicks which people again leveled as disrespect to the gods and the Hindu religion.
Ayan Mukerji’s directorial Brahmastra’s first part will hit the big screens on 9 September. Which is a three-part film to be released in five languages.

The film will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjun Akkineni. Ranbir plays the role of Shiva while Alia will be seen in the role of Isha. Senior Bachchan will be seen as the Professor in the much-awaited film based on Indian epics.
