At the age of 60, Dalbir Kaur, the sister of Sarabjit Singh, who died in a Pakistani prison on suspicion of spying, passed away on Saturday night from a heart attack. Upon hearing the news of Dalbir's death, actor Randeep Hooda immediately left everything and left Mumbai to attend her funeral. Dalbir Kaur was cremated at Bhikhiwind village in Tarn Taran town of Punjab.
It may be recalled that Sarabjit Singh's biopic 'Sarabjit' was released in the year 2016. In this film, Randeep played the role of Sarabjit Singh. In this film, Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur was played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Impressed by his performance in the film, Dalbir considered Randeep as his brother.
