On Wednesday, critically acclaimed Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda married his long-time girlfriend Lin Laishram in Manipur. Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram got married in a traditional Meitei ceremony in Imphal and later the couple shared mesmerizing photos from their marriage. At a time when Bollywood celebs opt for private weddings in lavish hotels where there are no cameras allowed, Randeep Hooda's Meitei wedding video indeed won the internet. In fact, Randeep Hooda's marriage video became the talk of the town among fans on social media.
In the Randeep Hooda wedding video, the actor looked like a perfect Manipuri groom while Lin was dressed as a traditional Manipuri bride. The couple exchanged garlands as their wedding ceremony proceeded. Randeep Hooda and Lin's wedding took place at Chumthang Sanapung located in Langthabal in Imphal West. Randeep and Lin reached Imphal on November 27. After seeking blessings at the temples, Lin and Randeep visited a relief camp in Moirang and Loktak Lake.
Now, Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram will throw a grand wedding reception for their Bollywood friends and family in Mumbai.
Who is Lin Laishram?
Lin Laishram is a Bollywood actress and businesswoman hailing from Manipur. Lim made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with the film Om Shanti Om, in which she gave a cameo appearance as Om Kapoor’s (Shah Rukh Khan) friend. Following this Lim appeared in other Bollywood films, including Mary Kom (2014) as Bem, Umrika (2015) as Udai’s wife, Rangoon (2017) as Mema, Qaidi Band (2017), and Axone (2019) as Chanbi.
Lin was also the brand ambassador of the New York-based jewelry brand, Ozoru Jewelry. Lin, 37, represented her state in Miss North East and was the first runner-up in 2008 held in Shillong. Apart from this, Lin also participated in the reality TV show Kingfisher Calendar Girl where she won many hearts with her exotic looks and athletic body. It is worth mentioning that Lin is the first Manipuri model who went on national television wearing a swimsuit, which led to many controversies in her hometown.
