Ranveer Singh Nude Photoshoot: FIR filed for 'selling obscenity' & hurting 'Women's sentiments'

On Monday, a complaint was filed against Ranveer Singh over his viral naked photoshoot by an NGO at Chembur Police Station, in Mumbai.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been landed in legal trouble, as Mumbai Police on Tuesday took cognizance of the case filed against him over his nude photoshoot and lodged an FIR against him. Ranveer Singh nude photos have been talk of the town, especially among memers and netizens. A few days back Ranveer Singh went all naked posing for Paper Magazine and as the photos were shared on social media they went viral like a wildfire. Ranveer Singh bare body photoshoot garnered mixed reactions. While many went gaga over his bold move, the Gully Boy actor was also slammed for spreading obsenity. 

On Monday,  a complaint was filed against Ranveer Singh over his viral naked photoshoot by an NGO at Chembur Police Station. In its complaint, the NGO stated that Ranveer Singh's nude photoshoot has women. The NGO in its complaint stated, "We are an NGO working towards the betterment of the society especially education of kids and farm widows in the name of...''


"We always support that there should be freedom of speech and expression but that doesn't mean that you should roam nude in society. The actors in India are called Nayak and the people of India follow them, in some part of India and people even worship them as God. By doing such acts the actors like Ranveer Singh try to get cheap publicity at the cost of sentiments of the people," the complaint added. 

Now, the Mumbai Police has finally took cognizance of the case and filed an FIR against Deepika Padukone's better half. As per reports, Ranveer has been booked under  IPC Sections 292 (Sale, etc of obscene books, etc) 293, 509 and sections of IT Act.
