The stars of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt appeared as the show-stoppers at the big Bridal Couture extravaganza that celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra held last night in Mumbai. In addition to others, the front row included Deepika Padukone, the actor-husband of Ranveer, Anju Bhavnani, actor Kajol, director Karan Johar, and Alia's mother, Soni Razdan.
Ranveer Singh, who never misses an opportunity to gush over his wife, paused on the ramp before approaching Deepika and planted a kiss on her cheek. Ranveer was also spotted touching his mother's feet and asking for her blessing. Before continuing to walk down the runway, he gave Karan Johar a kiss as well.

Ranveer wore a white sherwani, and Deepika was dressed in an off-white net saree. The upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD was being promoted at the San Diego Comic Con around the same time by her fellow cast members. Since she is prohibited from taking part in promotional activities per SAG rules, Deepika was unable to attend the event.
Not just Deepika and Karan, but Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer's best friend, also received a kiss on the cheek from him. Ranveer approached him after the performance and gave him a hug and kiss.
