New Delhi/Patna: On Saturday, the BJP finally announced the name of Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad as its candidate from the much talked about Patna Sahib parliamentary constituency in Bihar.
For past many years, Patna Sahib was being represented by noted film star-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha. However, Mr Sinha had turned a rebel against BJP leadership for some time now and had attacked Narendra Modi and Amit Shah at a Mega rally organised by Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress in Kolkata in the month of January.
