In a horrific development, the entire United Kingdom went into shock after Nicholas Metson, 28, confessed to murdering her wife and chopping her body parts in at least 224 pieces. As per UK media reports, Nicholas Metson confessed to murdering his 26-year-old wife Holly Bramley. Notably, Nicholas had been denying killing his wife before this. As per reports, Nicholas had stabbed Holly Bramley to death and chopped her body in over 200 pieces and stored them in his kitchen larder, before dumping her mortal remains with a friend’s help.
Holly Bramley's murder took place in March 2023. UK authorities informed the Lincoln Crown Court that Metson never disclosed the reason behind the murder or how he committed it. Metson had paid his friend, Joshua Hancock, fifty pounds to get rid of Bramley’s mortal remains.
Reports further suggest that before murdering Holly, Metson had roasted her pet animals in the microwave. He had searched on the internet – what benefits would he get if his wife died? Will she scare me after she dies?
After getting the information, police officers reached Metson's house. The Police had asked about Holly. Then Metson said, "Maybe she's hiding under the bed." The authorities smelled blood coming from the house. After this, Matson was arrested. On March 25, 2023, 8 days after the incident, 224 pieces of Holly's body were found in a river. Holly's hand was found in a polythene bag. Her head was in the other bag. There was no hair on the head. According to the police, many body parts are still not found.
Police said Metson's home was searched during his arrest. At that time, traces of blood were found on the floor and bedsheet in the bedroom. Blood, ammonia, and bleach were also found in the bathroom. It is used to purify blood. According to the police, polythene bags were also found in a big freezer in the store room near the kitchen. There was blood on them. However, no body parts were found there.
Notably, such details resemble a famous crime series titled Dexter. Dexter works in Forensics for the Miami Police Department but he is also a serial killer in disguise who kills people in similar manner.
Metson suffering from autism spectrum disorder
As per reports, Holly's mother had told the court that Nicholas Matson and Holly were married for only one and a half years. There used to be a lot of fighting between the two. He also killed many of Holly's pets. The mother said that Metson had killed Holly's pet hamster by putting it in a food blender and microwave. A puppy was put in the washing machine and the machine was started.
Holly's mother said that after Pete's death, Holly had reported Metson to the police. When the police reached his house to take action, Metson said, "I am a victim of domestic violence. My wife beats me." Metson also showed the police a wound on his hand. According to police, Metson has autism spectrum disorder. This is a mental illness. Due to a lack of communication, people can even harm themselves. This is a group of many deficiencies related to the brain, in which the patient has difficulty in speaking and social behavior.
