Is Brinda a true story?

The answer is no. Brinda is an original story directed by Surya Manoj Vangala and script consultant by Shashank Vennalakanti. Now, the question arises as to why fans are wondering about Brinda's True Story since it is fictional. The answer is Surya Manoj Vangala's comment and revelation of real-life human sacrifice cases and rituals he read in 2015-16. Surya Manoj Vangala was quoted saying, "In 2015-16, I read about an incident in Uttar Pradesh. I then learnt about certain practices in other regions as well. Extremely polarising debates on these issues got me thinking." Therefore, it can be said that Brinda's certain elements may have been inspired by true events, Trisha's character Brinda is fictional.

Talking about real-life human sacrifice cases, a report suggests that there were 19 instances of human sacrifices in 2017 where people fell victim to witchcraft and black magicians and bulk of the cases came from Karnataka, Haryana, and Maharashtra, which reported five each case. There are also real-life cases of human sacrifices that took place in Uttar Pradesh as pointed out by the Brinda maker.

Brinda Storyline

Brinda starts with a disturbing scene in a village when a dead body is found in the jungle. The villagers say that the dead body may bring bad luck and tragedies upon the village and villagers. And, therefore. they decide to sacrifice a girl child to woo the Gods. However, the mother tries to flee with her daughter and a son from the village. While she was able to save her daughter, she was killed during her attempt to flee the village. Later, the girl who was saved turned out to be Trisha i.e. Brinda.

Then the actual story starts. The story of Brinda revolves around murders taking place in parts of Hyderabad. While chasing the murderer in the whole series, Brinda (played by Trisha), with the help of other characters in the series, realises that the man who killed Thakur was not actually the main culprit, but it was someone else who was to blame. Brinda, who is a sub-inspector herself, almost immediately recognised Kabir Anand as the culprit she was searching for. However, Kabir turned out to be Brinda's lost brother, Satya. The revelation complicated matters significantly for Brinda. What happens next and who killed 16 members of the village, to know this, True Scoop News appeals you to watch Brinda on Sony Liv.
