S’dumo Mtshali, Presley Chweneyagae and Brenda Ngxoli come together for Donovan Marsh’s movie, iNumber Number: Jozi Gold. A historical gold robbery is being investigated by an undercover police officer, who finds himself forced to choose between his conscience and the law. Donovan Marsh's South African thriller iNumber Number, which had its world premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, has been optioned by Universal Pictures for a remake. The remake will be produced by Chris Morgan and Emile Gladstone through their Universal-based Chris Morgan Productions. Chris Morgan is the writer of Universal's Fast & Furious movies. Additionally producing is XYZ Films' Aram Tertzakian.

The protagonist of the action thriller is a trustworthy undercover officer who, after being cheated out of a significant promotion, switches from being a cop to a robber in order to plan a significant theft that he hopes will be a one-way ticket to easy street. When the gang learns his real identity, they kidnap his partner and things start to go wrong.

The studio and producers will look for a new writer for its remake because Marsh will not be in charge of writing or directing it. Tertzakian's business partners at XYZ, Nate Bolotin and Nick Spicer, will executive produce. For Chris Morgan Productions and XYZ, Ainsley Davies and Kyle Franke will be in charge of production. Anikah McLaren, vice president of production, and Chloe Yellin, creative executive, will oversee for the company.

However, the movie may be a remake it is clearly NOT based on real life incidents. The movie would be out on Netflix on 23rd June 2023.
